Altcar Shooting Calendar

• We require anyone wishing to shoot at Altcar to arrive before 12:30pm, so that we can get organised properly prior to commencing shooting
• Every single attendee will be scheduled by the RCO for duties - everyone is expected to "muck in" - duties are compulsory and fair to all involved
• We must have First Aiders, safety supervisors, lookouts and be able to assign attendees to other duties, as mandated by Altcar rules
• If you require the use of Club equipment, the RCO must have 7 days notice
• Only authorised calibres may be used at Altcar and these are listed on the booking form, any new calibres you wish to shoot need to be authorised for use at Altcar ahead of shooting them there
• Ammunition that is handloaded must be declared to RCOs at least 1 week before shooting and verified by you that it meets the range rules
• No photography or the recording of video of any kind is permitted at Altcar
• You are advised to contact a Club representative the day before the day before you are due to attend to check if the shoot has been cancelled
• All dates below are subject to military requirements - the military always have priority
• The current cost to shoot with us at Altcar can be found in our pricelist (under the "Altcar Fees" section)

• Security Gate and Range Office Staff are now seriously clamping down on Altcar passes that have expired. DO NOT LET YOUR PASS EXPIRE
• SCC (shooters certification) cards are compulsory to carry on the day, unless you are a trainee under supervision
• Apply for a new pass at least one month before its expiry date. Avoid trying to renew your pass 3 months (or more) prior to its expiry
• To renew your pass, you will require 2 passport photos - write your full name on both and also include your home address and the name of the gun club on the back of at least one of them
• Always ensure that any unused or expired passes are handed in to the staff at Altcar. The passes are classed as official MOD documents
